What is URL Rewriting ? : Every page on the web has a unique URL. The URL of a dynamic page is like this: www.example.com/index.php?id=3&pid=3933. A big disadvantage of this URL is that it conveys no useful information to the search engine and user. Moreover such URL structures just cannot be memorized. Such pages need to be converted into static pages, the URL of which is search engine friendly and easily memorable. URL rewriting is a technique used to ‘translate’ a URL into something which can be easily interpreted by the user and server. Looking to generate .htaccess file?
